King's Day in Maastricht was a day to remember (27 April 2022). The royal family visited Maastricht and got to experience life in Limburg. The royal route through the city centre featured innovation by Brightlands, traditional Limburg dishes at Onze Lieve Vrouweplein and so much more. What an incredible day!

A local talent made the video below, capturing the feeling of King's Day 2022 in Maastricht. It’s a story about life in (the capital of) Limburg. A story about vastelaovend (our own version of carnival), good taste and associations that unite people – people who embrace each other and the unique Maastricht dialect. We couldn’t be more gruuts (Maastricht dialect for “proud”).
